Series 20 straight sliding systems are suitable for timber or metal doors with a maximum panel weight up to 70kg (using two 2 wheel hangers per door), or 90kg (using two 4 wheel hangers per door). Components suitable for use with straight sliding systems are detailed below. Generally two hangers are used on each door panel. A third or fourth hanger can be used to increase door weight capacity. eg. using three 20-23 hangers would allow a door panel weighing up to 135kg to be used. When using upper track support brackets they should be fixed at 600 - 1000mm spacing. Steel track is pre-drilled for soffit fixing at 600mm centres and may be fixed directly to the substrate. Aluminium track is not pre-drilled and will require support brackets.
