Hopkins supplies a range of central locks for roller shutters, suitable for shutter manufacturers building new systems as well as repair, refurbishment and replacement applications.

Central shutter locks provide a practical mechanical locking solution for roller shutters, with the lock positioned centrally and operating locking bolts to secure the shutter.

Our range includes different sizes and configurations to suit a variety of shutter designs, including specialist central shutter locks from Facchinetti. Facchinetti manufactures mechanical security locks and produces central locks specifically for roller shutter applications.

Selected Facchinetti central shutter locks use geared mechanisms with bolts extending from the lock body and allow operation from inside or outside using the same key.

For trade shutter manufacturers, the range provides locking options for incorporation into newly manufactured roller shutters. Central locks can also be used when repairing or refurbishing existing shutters where the original locking equipment is worn or damaged.
