Ground Locks
Hopkins supplies a range of ground locks for roller shutters, providing an additional mechanical method of securing the shutter in the closed position.
Ground locks can be fitted individually or in pairs depending on the shutter and security requirements. The ground unit is installed into the floor using concrete or a suitable epoxy resin, with the corresponding eye attached to the shutter. A removable eye and matching padlock are then used to secure the shutter to the ground fixing.
Our range includes complete ground locking systems together with replacement components, keys and associated security fittings for use by shutter manufacturers, installers and repairers. The current online range includes several different ground lock arrangements and replacement components.
Ground locks can be incorporated into newly manufactured roller shutters or fitted as additional security to suitable existing installations.
