Shop Blind Boxes
Hopkins manufactures traditional timber shop blind boxes for Victorian awnings and traditional shop blind systems, suitable for new installations as well as replacement and restoration projects.
Our shop blind boxes are joiner-made from redwood and supplied with the front rail as standard, providing the principal timber enclosure and front rail components required for the traditional awning system.
The timber box and front rail can be painted or stained to suit the shopfront, allowing the finished awning to complement both traditional and contemporary buildings.
Boxes are manufactured in a range of sizes to suit different overall blind widths. The current Hopkins range covers awnings up to 7.5 metres overall width.
Front rails can also be purchased separately where required for repair, replacement or customers manufacturing their own shop blind system. Aluminium Kador rail is also available separately for attaching the awning fabric or valance to the appropriate part of the system.
