Lateral Locks
Hopkins supplies lateral locks for roller shutters, providing an alternative locking arrangement to a conventional central shutter lock.
Lateral locks are generally used as a pair, with one lock fitted to the shutter lath on each side of the shutter. This provides two separate locking points across the shutter. The current Hopkins range includes H95 lateral lock pairs, blank keys and re-pinned versions.
For customers who need additional locks to operate from an existing key, Hopkins can re-pin H95 lateral locks to match a specified key number. This can be particularly useful for shutter manufacturers, replacement installations or sites where multiple shutters need to use an existing key number.
Lateral locks are suitable for incorporation into newly manufactured roller shutters as well as repair, refurbishment and replacement of existing locking systems.
