series 20
Runners Series 20 is a straight sliding door system suitable for timber or metal doors, with a wide range of tracks, hangers, brackets, guides and associated fittings available.
Using two 2 wheel hangers per door, Series 20 is suitable for door panels weighing up to 70kg. Using two 4 wheel hangers increases the maximum panel weight to 90kg. Additional hangers can be used to increase the capacity further. For example, three 20-23 hangers can support a door panel weighing up to 135kg.
Generally, two hangers are used per door panel.
When using upper track support brackets, these should be fitted at 600 to 1000mm centres. Steel track is pre-drilled for soffit fixing at 600mm centres and can be fixed directly to the substrate. Aluminium track is not pre-drilled and requires support brackets.
