Ratchet or Check Action rollers require no cords to tie off, and allow the blind to be pulled down and stop in any position. The ratchets engage every 1/2 turn giving a great deal of control. For the blind to rise, simply pull the blind down 1/4 turn and release.
Commonly found in National Trust, English Heritage and Stately homes - the Hopkins Ratchet Action is perfect for period renovations, or if you are wanting to achieve that "Downton Abbey" look.
Best used alongside Soft acting duplex springs. Hopkins also manufacture made up Ratchet Action rollers from 300mm to 4000mm wide, and long drops are our speciality.
