The strong awning classic is used in the areas of articulated arms, drop arm awnings and window awnings. The worm gear has a good efficiency and a safe self-locking in the range of the maximum output torque. A built-in brake spring prevents the awning from running out in the event of an alternating load, e.g. due to wind. The brake spring ensures smooth extension of the awning, as the worm wheel is mounted in plastic bushings. A stable, reliable elevator limitation (end stop) made of hardened steel, which locks after a maximum of 15 revolutions of the fabric shaft, prevents incorrect winding of the awning cloth.
