The housing and output shaft of the GEIGER bevel gearbox are made of a high-strength plastic. The gearbox is highly efficienct, safe self-locking and powerful bevel gears. A hardened and ground brake cylinder in conjunction with a spring steel spring guarantees long-lasting, wear-free braking performance. The brake acts in both directions of rotation. The housing and gearbox holder have a toothing to prevent the bevel gearbox from spinning. A continuous inner profile in the output makes it possible to install it in the middle. In order to always maintain the same direction of rotation when the blind is cranked up, a corresponding right and left gear version is available for right and left installation.
