Sometimes known as "Bullet Locks" these are used to secure roller shutters. A cast housing is welded or screwed to the shutter guide rail, and a hole drilled through the shutter behind and the inside guide rail. The lock then pushes through and locates in the housing securing it in position. An isolation Box (MT16A) is available to prevent accidental damage to electrically operated shutters.
