Gear Boxes

There are many different types of gearbox available this is manly to offer different gear ratios. the higher the ratio the more torque will be produced from the same person, Therefore heavier/bigger blinds can be operated.

The problem with this however is that as you increase the ratio of the gear box, you also increase the number of turns required to lift the blind wich can make for a long oppration time.
